Hi, beautiful brides-to- be! My name is Emily Tate. I am the founder, owner, and main designer at Blithe & Blue Design. Thanks for visiting my site! I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself, how I started my business, and most importantly, what you can expect when you work with Blithe & Blue.

Although I LOVE being a designer and small business owner, the most important titles in my life are wife and mom. I live in Northern Virginia with my wonderful, supportive husband Jake, and my sweet baby boy, Ezra, who was born in August 2017.

When I started my business in 2016, I was in your shoes. I was planning a wedding to my high school sweetheart, just two weeks after our college graduation, and I was shocked and dismayed by the prices. Planning a wedding is an expensive business! Trying to save where I could, I decided to design and print my own wedding stationary. It’s not for everyone, but turns out, it was for me. I started my company as soon as my honeymoon was over, and my goal was (and is) to help brides create custom wedding stationary that perfectly fits their style but doesn’t break the bank.
